Product Warranties
Let’s face it--hearing aids live in a rather hostile environment near ear cerumen (wax), loose skin from the ear canals, and moisture exposure. Hawaii’s humid conditions are often not the best for electronics. It is no surprise that they may malfunction with little warning. The warranty that comes with hearing aids usually includes both repair and loss/damage protection* and can be a very important consideration when it comes to comparing various products. (Warranties on accessories or other assistive devices often provide repair protection only.) When your warranty expires, if you wish to extend the protection on your purchase for an additional period, we can assist you with purchasing additional coverage.
*Loss/damage claims usually entail a deductible you must first pay when filing a claim.
