Pediatric Evaluations

We love keiki! Some practices do not assess children, who may require additional skills, equipment, and expertise, but they are welcome at Alapa‘i Audiology.  MaryLee Ruth, Au.D., doctorate of audiology, has years of expertise with youngsters.  Whether your child has frequent ear infections, delayed language development, or general concerns about hearing ability,  a hearing evaluation is an important component in their diagnosis.  If your little one is too young to perform a standard hearing test, there are alternate ways of observing behavior to calibrated sounds, as well as measurements that provide information on the function of the auditory system that do not require cooperation of your child.
